MG Nottingham at the Great Food and Drink Festival

MG Cars are Coming Back to Nottingham

On Saturday 5th August Nottingham will have a new dealership dedicated to the sales of MG cars. MG Nottingham Ltd will be opening its doors to the public at 10am and everyone is invited to come along and see the new range of cars as well as meeting the team and sampling complimentary tea, coffee and nibbles.

Councillor Vivienne McCrossen, Mayor of Gedling Borough Council, will be in attendance to formally open the site and welcome new customers.

Today, MG is more than an iconic octagonal badge; it is once again a motoring force to be reckoned with. Our much-loved British brand has been re-launched with the financial backing of one of the world’s largest car manufacturers, which allows us to stand tall in the global market.

The new range of MG models, that have been designed and engineered at a 69-acre site in Longbridge, Birmingham, include the MG3 and MG GS.

The MG3, which was launched in 2013, is a supermini packed with more fun, practicality and specification than any of its rivals, and at just a fraction of the cost.  Furthermore the MG3 has reclaimed its top spot as the lowest priced car on the Motability Scheme, meaning you could drive away a brand-new MG3 Form Sport with DAB radio, cruise control and smartphone integration just £48.25 a week.

In 2016, MG launched the MG GS and with it a first venture into the exciting, yet highly competitive, SUV market.  The MG GS, with its stylish looks, high specification and affordable pricing, marks another milestone in MG’s future development.

With strong financial backing and a bright future, MG is ready to write the most exciting chapter in what is already a very colourful story.  MG’s site in Birmingham is home to the European Engineering Technical Centre and Design Studio, as well as a manufacturing facility and the Headquarters of MG Motor UK.

And what better way to cement MG’s relationship with the British public than by supporting the Great Food and Drink Festival at Newstead Abbey, Nottinghamshire, on the Bank Holiday week end of 26th-28th August. Attending the event will be Candice Brown (Great British Bake Off winner), Rosemary Shrager and Gizzi Erskine.

MG Nottingham will be showing the MG3 and the MG GS as well as the new compact SUV which isn’t due for launch until the end of 2017 – the MG XS. Tickets are available at
